AFTERCARE

For the 24 hours following your waxing treatment, please refrain from:

  • The sun, solariums, saunas, chlorinated pools, perfumed products, deodorant and hot baths/showers
  • Exfoliate after 2 days and then no more than 2-3 times weekly thereafter
  • Avoid wearing tight clothes such as hosiery as this will only irritate the waxed area and may cause ingrown hairs
  • Try not to touch or scratch the treated area as this can cause infection
  • After continuous sessions of waxing, you will notice a much sparser hair growth - it will feel thinner and softer and will have a longer re-growth rate. Eventually it may even stop growing. Shaving has the opposite effect, and because it only cuts hair from above the skins surface (rather than being taken out from the root - as with waxing) it actually stimulates hair growth - hence why it is such a chore to have to shave so often!
