My Journey
My intimate waxing business grew organically when clients started asking for ‘more off’ during their bikini wax appointments. This is not something at the time I felt comfortable with doing, because the original Beauty Therapy training I did back in 2002, didn’t teach us how to do this. At that time, when it came to waxing, a basic bikini wax was all I knew. So due to client demand and lack of other intimate waxers in the area, I decided to find a training course, especially for female intimate waxing.
That same year of 2011, I also decided to train in HD Brows. Mostly because I never felt fully satisfied with the results from the basic wax and tint that I had been taught in college. They showed us how to remove regrowth but that was it…. no designing, thinking about proportions, face shape, colouring or bone structure meant no tailored service.
Being the 1st and only HD Brow stylist and female intimate waxing specialist in my area at the time, these quickly became my most popular treatments and they also happened to be my favourite treatments to do, so naturally, I decided to drop all other beauty services to focus on just these two.
Whilst I am generally aware of the latest trends when it comes to eyebrows, I do offer a bespoke service to my client and what suits them both personally and visually as well as their lifestyle. I’ll always take my clients desires into consideration as well as giving my own professional opinion. I will always carry out a thorough consultation and keep this updated before every single treatment. As a master Brow Stylist and waxing expert, I am also able to offer express services to suit clients who have busy schedules.
I come from Wirral, a small town in the North West UK and became a mum at age 21. My family of 5 is one of the many reasons I wanted to have the flexibility of running my own business. After working in salons and spas for over a decade and having my 3rd child, it made sense for me to start working from home so that I could work around my family. Working from home is no different for my clients than a high street salon in terms of looks, professionalism or service. It means I can offer an even more personalised service whilst in a comfortable and calm environment on a 121 basis. My treatment room is fully equipped as any salon should be and used only for my business.
My current clients tell me how comfortable I make them feel and how I’ve restored their confidence and self-esteem back from my services. I’ve even had (happy) tears before now! My Facebook and Google reviews speak for themselves. I don’t just ‘do eyebrows’, I show you how you can recreate the look yourself and how to look after them at home as well as giving product recommendations that are available to retail so that your brows can look nice all month and not just the 1 day (or so) a month you visit me. Same goes with skincare for my waxing clients. I am also proudly a multiple time awards finalist for Brow Specialist UK for BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists) in 2017 and 2019.
